Welcome to my birdwatching photographs with perhaps the occasional blog. Please feel free to comment either good or bad; it's the only way I'll learn anything.
I started off digiscoping but like many others progressed to DLSR camera. The first being a Canon 350d with some reasonable shots being achieved but after a time, found the LCD screen too be far to small for my failing eye sight. Sticking with Canon, I exchanged to the 40d which I love using. My lens is a Canon 400 f5.6 which means I should really be able to bring more clarity to the pictures than ever before.
I learnt today that one of my Richmond Park Red stag photographs has been selected to be used in the ninth edition of the Schmap guide of London. To say I'm shocked is an under statement.
